Name ideas for the due in Dec ladies(16 Posts)
OK, for those of you still thinking of names here are a few I like or know of - perhaps they'll be one on the list you haven't thought of:-
Will keep thinking..........
on our short list are:
I also like Jacob and Madeline, but dh doesn't....
At various times I have thought of (but not settled on)
p likes Bethany, Rebecca and something else I've forgotten
ds likes Goldilocks or Cinderella for either sex.
Totally stuck on boys.
I'm sitting here giggling at ds's choices, ninah
uh, I cant even think names now, I'm so sick of them, the same ones keep going round and round between dh and I. aghhhhhhhhhh!
we spend whole night talking ourselves into one name and how fab it is, and then next day one of us says 'i'm not sure about that name now........' and we're back where we started!
girl is settled. boy is not.
better be a girl then! (and you know I dont think it is!)
I think we have got ours now, not telling this time as it was on the horrendous snorty names thread (but different spelling)
Now we have to decide on middle name.
For us -
Kasper (my fav, I love, love, love it)
Eddie (D now thinks he prefers this and it was his Godfathrs name who passed away this year)
I like Evie or Edie, D prefers Eve
Ziggy (the whole world apart, from me & d, loathe this name)
Thought about Izzy instead but too many around and got put off at the Big Chill festival where Izzy (Isabella)was hollered from every corner of every field!
Maisy (my nana's name, might do Maisy Daisy and D's surname ends in an M and it flows in a mad way)
Jessie / Jessica / Jess
Think we had a few more girls names but can't remember them now.
We both LOVE the name Poppy but are trying to be as fair as possible to future child. Thought it might be called Poopy in the playground - what do you think?
Well we have been told that we are having a boy and he will be called
If it was to be a girl then the first name was definately
But the middel name was still up for discussion I really liked Marmalade but DH laughed for days but after thinking about it as she would have been born at Xmas I thought that
was a lovely name.
I wouldn't have thought of that tictac, but you know kids, doesn't matter what the name, they'll find something to rhyme with it at some point
I like Emily, shortened to Millie, but there are way too many of both names around now. I also like Edie TC, was trying to think of what else it could be short for other than Edith?
