this is to do with bereavement.

My nan died today, she went into hospital 2 weeks ago and it was discovered that she had cancer and i wanted to light a candle for her online, similar to the sites that were linked on here when the london bombs happened.

i'm not a particularly religious person and so would feel wrong going to church to light a candle, just feel that it would be a nice way to pay respect to my nan.

i'm sorry i know that i could search the archives but i can't really see or think staright at the moment. any help greatly appreciated.

So sorry to hear about your nan. I think that lighting a candle anywhere would be a lovely way to think about her - there's a link to a site here , but you wouldn't need to be religious to light one in a church, or to light one in your home.
