Have had a scan and discovered that I had an anembryonic pregnancy where the embryo doesn't develop because of problems but the sac does and you get all other pregnancy signs.

Just to like say thanks to those who responded to my thread and offered advice. I am disappointed but in a way it's reassuring to know that there wasn't really a baby there in the first place.
