Gosh, that’s so sad. My older boys are 23 and 21 and really are still just boys. Does he have a named Person or guidance team at university that he can speak to? If not the head of his course should point him in the right direction. Student hardship fund may help. Is there any local council funding in your area? We have a children’s trust that offers one off grants (sometimes more than once) to support under 25’s in education. Citizens advice may also be able to help. Poor lad.
