Scattering ashes

My dad died a few weeks ago,had the funeral within a week. We are scattering ashes on Fathers Day.
I had a fairly disjointed relationship with him & hadnt seen him for years after being let down repeatedly. I have been trying to find a poem to read out but they are all about wonderful fathers. He wasn't but he was my dad, I want him to be at peace. Has anyone any ideas of poems etc.
I would be very appreciative of any ideas.
