DS is just 10 months and the last few days he has been really wierd with his food - we feed him in his baby walker as it has a feeding tray, anyway he has been methodically taking everything out of the bowl and placing it neatly on the tray then putting it neatly back in the bowl - its wierd how he buts them in such a neat pile and the concerntration on his face is so intense.

he has also been sharing his food - which im not complaning about as obviously sharings a good thing but he has his toys in the front room and hes been going up to all of his teddys and stuffed animals and putting the food to its motuh as if hes feeding it also hes puts his food to mine and ds's mouth. - we havent taught him sahring as hes only 10 months so he seems to have learnt it all by himself! does anyone elses do this or done this and does anyone know why?

Lol - DD has always been one for "sorting" her food before eating it - she's 2 now and stil does it... the other night she was emptying the veg out of her stew, and putting it in carrot piles, onion piles etc

Sharing - I'm guessing they just learn that from us... he's had you putting food into his mouth for 10 months, and it makes him happy, so its logical he wants to do it back to you to make you happy.

Sounds like you ahve a star little boy

My 11 month old loves to feed me!! She also sorts her food out moving it from one pile to another we think it's so funny. She also plays a game of pass her toys back and forth for her hand to yours and moves her toys about in piles.

my dd likes sorting things. she empties the cupboards and puts things in a pile and then moves them all to a new pile etc. I never really thought much about it apart from it was keeping her entertained.
Sounds like a lovely little boy you have
