Hi,

Just wondering when your DCs got their first tooth? My DD is 7 months and one week and seems to have been teething for a while. Today we have had rivers of drool, lots of biting down and inconsolable crying! When is it likely one will pop through??

DD1 was 6 months, DD2 was 5 months; but I know plenty of little ones who don't get any until nearer 1.

DS1 & 2 got first ones around 8 months, DS3 who is just 11 months has got 4 this week.

2 bottom middle ones, one more advanced than the other and one of the front middle ones and one next to it to the side.

DS1 8 months
DS2 10 months - then popped 8 teeth in 10 days, whilst on holiday, it was hell!
DS3 16 weeks

One of those things not worth stressing about - teeth come when they come. Dentition is not suitable for competitive parenting !

DD was 13 months, but seemed to have on/off teething symptoms from about 3 months!

DS1 - 4 months
DS2 - 11 months.

But they can drool and be crabby for a looooooong time (like, months) before any tooth actually appears, there's a lot of gum for them to get through before they break the surface.
