Just wondering if anyone else has had any experience of something like this as I find it quite interesting!! I was away the other weekend and dh took ds (41/2) and dd(18 months) to a party. They had a limbo at the party. the girls were skipping up and then crawling under it and the boys were doing that thing where they run and then slide on their knees which my son does a lot on the wooden floors at home, in the school gym etc. however, on this occasion he was the only child to jump it. All the other boys went under on their knees and none of the girls jumped it either. dh thinks it shows he thinks differently. would be interested to know if anyone else has had similar experience with their children...thanks!

DS often does his own thing - and then the others start copying him.

Maybe your DS is destined to become an Olympic hurdler

Can definitely see him being a sportsman of some kind, he is so active! Actually, it might be because he likes watching horses - especially showjumping!!

dh though went into major psychological assessment mode though, he thinks differently to other kids, need to bear this in mind in our dealings with him etc.!!!
