Behaviour/development

3 year old still babbling

Summer born DS has just started pre-school, but in terms of development he seems to be streaks behind DD at the same age.

He talks when he wants to (not really to adults) but will chat away to his sister and other children.

He still has a tendancy to babble

He does play imaginary games - so I'm not too concerned there.

Should I be worried, or is he just a normal boy?

When he does talk, is it clear and in proper sentences?

Thanks for the reply, yes he talks in clear and proper sentences, but only when he wants to.

He will quite often ignore adults. Not sure if there's a problem, or if he's just being his usual rebelious self.

Never had this problem with DD who chats confidently to everyone and has done from a very young age
