I am probably a little paranoid having DS2 who was slow to speak, but DS3 is a bit of a worry to me.
At 2.5, he is very verbal, speaking from a young age and you can hold a proper conversation with him (not boasting,just happy because it took DS2 so long to reach that point).
However, he does not answer yes. Example, I changed the tv channel from Mr Maker to something else and he said 'Where's Mr Maker? I want Mr Maker please.' I said ' Do you want Mr Maker?' and he said 'I want Mr Maker please'. This is typical of how he gives an affirmative response. He does say no and shake his head and he speech and language development is normal apart from this.
Is this something I should mention to Ds2's SALT or will DS3 just pick it up?
