Copying older brother

Just spent a week in Spain with my DS aged 5 copying absolutely EVERYTHING that my 13 year old SS did. He even said this morning that he cant wait until he's 10 so he can have a brace. He has started doing this anoying laugh because he says thats how his half brother does it. On holiday, we would be in the self service restaurant and he would wait to see what his brother got so he could copy him. Even if there was food he liked better, he would still copy! These are just a few examples. Its driving me mad!

my cousins used to do this. they used to always ask the younger ones what they wanted first so they wouldn't copy the older ones.
