I don't know whether ir not to let my DD go to sleep after she fell off the bed earlier today. She is really grotty because i am scared to let her sleep. Anyone had this problem??

Lots of questions:- how did she land? onto carpet? did she cry immediately? Does she have any marks? - any vomiting, dazed look, any other problems?

Mine did the same. I put her in bed with me and just kept an eye on her. (back in the day it was just dd1 and me).
Or you could check on her every 20 minutes depending on whether she is usually a good sleeper.
If she is really really grotty, i.e. being sick you may want to take her to GP and let them tell you.

I was told that you should keep a child awake for at least 2hrs after bumping head.If child seems not ok after that period then may be worth seeing a doc.If it's been more than 2 hrs then let her sleep but just keep an eye on her to be certain

I took DS to A&E after a fall down stairs at 15 months, he had hit his head.
Thay siad that if a child was grotty because they needed sleep, then let them sleep, and keep an eye and wake them after their normal sleep tme.
If grotty at any other time the seek advice

She did land on carpet and cried immediately. I took her downstairs and tried to take her mind off it which semed to help a bit but she looked really pale, she fell asleep on me about 15 mins later but I kept waking her up etc. She is sleeping now but should I wake her up every so often? She didn't vomit or anything it was just the paleness of her that scared me. Thanks for your comments!!

It's very unlikely that she'll have done any serious damage falling from the bed onto carpet. I would let her sleep, but stay with her, and just make sure that her breathing remains normal and that she's moving normally.
