Is she cutting her big teeth? Will it be hell on earth?

Since Fri my dd 2.5 has been alternating between being bright as a button to looking like she's coming down with something nasty.

One minute she's absolutely fine & the next minute it's like someone's flipped a switch and she displays symptoms of temperature, flushed cheeks, tiredness & lethargy & yuk, smelly breath (sorry if tmi)!. Earlier she was so grumpy, fell asleep on me which she NEVER does and was tearful when we suggested a trip to Sainsburys.......but by the time we got her in the car, after a dose of Calpol, she was fine and had a whale of a time as we then went on to the pub for tea!

I'm thinking it can't be anything too serious - suspect it could be her big back teeth finally coming through. Anyone else has experience of this? What were your little ones like when cutting their big teeth. Is it going to be horrendous??

Smelly breath is one of the symptoms of throat infection. My daughter had lots of this and was up and down with behaviour and lethargy. Early in the morning & late afternoon was the worst. Probably not teeth.
