Help. Had horrible weekend with ds who scratched dd(2.5yrs) so badly on face during row that she now looks like has been mauled by cat, pinched and punched friends, and generally been a horribly behaved. Have responded by isolation - (room of doom), withdrawl of nice things, and long talks about behaviour. Historically was a biter, basher etcc.. I thought we had entered a new faze as all this behaviour seemed to be on the back burner but last few weeks it has returned. Should I just book his place at bostal now? Advice please - what am I doing wrong?

lol at Borstal.......
mine is booked into youth offenders, there are many places there as apparently mine is the only wild beast amongst his perfect peers.
Does that make you feel any better?

Not sure about the agression, mine is just irritatingly 4 so cant advise, however i do believe that you hit the nail on the head about entering another phase. Be comforted in the knowledge that like the other phases, this too will end.
Just do what you do, reward and punishment.

How is he at school btw?

Not at school as yet as overseas (NZ) starts on 5th birthday. At nursery he is better but still an issue although to a lesser extent. I guess some of this is the sibling rivalary stuff but just driving me mad!!!!! Your right everyone else has perfect peers!
