Hi there,
I’m new to mumsnet.
I started weaning my DS at 6 months old I followed the advice on NHS start4life and offered one solid each day. Since he’s been 7 months I’m offering breakfast, lunch & dinner. A mixed variety of foods. He picks up the food himself and will have a play & a chew he will eat a cucumber stick or a couple of small slices of toast or maybe one spoonful of porridge but that’s it but he then loses interest. He’s still hungry as he’ll always be happy for milk afterwards. I breastfeed him and he feeds every 3-4 hours.
Should I be worried and will he start eating more meat as he gets older?

Hello and welcome to MN Smile

This all sounds perfectly normal to me and yes he'll start to eat more.

There's a weaning section on MN under "feed the world" if you want to have a read of a few posts of what others are experiencing Smile
