Hi there, my little one is 5 weeks old and just two days ago she started eating less than usual. She is having breast milk top up with formula milk everyday and fully bottle feed( Baby can't latch). She used to have 2 oz milk every feed from birth and goes up to 3 oz milk when she was 3 weeks old but the past two days she wasn't eating much and her feed drop to 2 oz milk again. Is that normal? Has anyone comes across baby eating less once a while? By the way, she pee and poo normally.

I wouldn’t worry too much. I have two boys and my youngest is 5 months and he still does this now. One day he tables 7oz the next. Could be 5 or 6. ( tbh he changes from feed to feed ) It’s just what babies do in my experience. I’d only worry if baby wasn’t doing many wet nappies but you said all is normal there so I’d say baby is doing great. Try not to stress. If you are concerned at all just call your gp sure they would be happy to do check up. Xxx
