Child or performing seal

I really hate it when other people encourage their children to do party tricks: go on dear, show X how you can Y...

but I have ONE to confess, when DS was 2 I explained to him how to "flirt" with the waiting staff to try and get the icecream / coffee / bill to arrive sooner. It's very successful and involves a complicated OTT grinning and eyelash fluttering combination (he looks slightly deranged, TBH).
