When did your baby start crawling?

My dd is 9.5 months and she is not crawling and people make those comments about it. I know babies all do things at different stages and some babies don't crawl but i am starting to feel bad about it. If i leave her with her toys and go out the room she cries in temper because i have gone and she can't follow me. I think she is getting frustrated that she can't reach certain things too.

My DD is now 8 months old and has been crawling since she was 6 months.
However, several of her friends are yet to start. One friend is almost 9 months and is still at the point of lying on her tummy waving her arms and legs around, but really can't move.
Another friend is almost 10 months and makes no attempt at crawling at all. We're pretty sure she'll walk without ever crawling.
It's really tough when people make comments about developmental stages, isn't. Try not to let them get to you. Your DD will crawl if and when she's ready. 9.5months really isn't so late as to be unusual.
The frustration of not being to follow you and reach things will probably give her the incentive she needs to get moving.

Mine is nearly 10 mo and not crawling or trying to. She's also not trying to pull herself on furniture either.

She was one month prem so that accounts for some delay but by now I've come to the conclusion she's just lazy.

I have made a resolution with myself not to stress about it...

My mum says I walked at 10 mo and my sister walked at 20 mo. We're both equally adept at walking now.

Don't worry about it. My LO never crawled and all my friends' babies from my antenatal class did. Runs around like a mad thing now!

ds2 has just started at 10 months and ds1 didnt crawl at all.

My DD is nearly 11 months and is getting very frustrated trying to crawl...really don't worry.

DD didn't crawl (i had her in baby walker from 6month as she was frustrated) but she was walking unaided at 10 months.

my ds never crawled,went straight onto his feet at around 11 months but needed both hands held.It was back breaking!
