My two year old son has a grey hair, this is sending me loopy, i must look like i am checking for nits, i can not leave his hair alone. Has anyone else experienced this.

DS2 has a few, and has always had them.
He has very, very dark hair, and I just assume that this makes them more noticeable.

My three year old has one pure white hair. He's fair so it's not too noticeable. Glad you posted this as I've wondered how common it was.

It's only hair; don't let it send you loopy. It's a unique part of him that you can't do anything about anyway - and if you pull it out, it will only grow back.

Ah mine too! So good that they aren't totally unusual!

He has one white one and the rest is mid brown with a goldeny tinge. He also has one or two very red hairs and a couple of black ones, so I guess it is just all a bit mixed up.

I presume it is just something to do with a hair follicle that has just gone a bit wrong in terms of pigmentation and it won't spread - hopefully not anyway!
