I'm desperately seeking any advice...my once wonderful, caring, funny little boy has suddenly become very aggressive and has 'meltdowns' at the drop of a hat where he 'zones out' and lashes out at anyone or anything, a referral to CAMHS has been put in after a recent bout of aggressive behaviour, I've tried every approach I can think of.
Long story short.....I just want my beautiful little boy back.
If anyone has any advice or even just a bit of support I would be so grateful

Well you've obviously raised a lovely boy to begin with so it must be so hard to see this change in him. He hasn't has chickenpox recently has he?

Hello, just wanted to come along with a hand to hold as currently having similar with my DS. Very aggressive, volatile, non compliant. Can be so lovely and is very polite and intelligent but just cannot work out why he has this split personality. Has been excluded from school on a couple of occasions due to lashing out at staff and pupils. Sometimes theres a clear trigger but sometimes not and we are working closely with the school to try and get to the bottom of it. Very stressful and im sobbing most days feeling like a failure as a parent. He has a stable homelife, very much loved child so we are at a total loss as to why he's like this. You're not alone xx

Have there been any recent changes? Has he just started school?

Flowers Did he go to nursery or preschool before starting school? How was his behaviour there?

He's just started full time school but went to day nursery from 9months old and school nursery last year which he just took in his stride...was over confident with it if truth be know. X
