Our DS was high needs, looking back I think it was partly because of undiagnosed tongue tie. He did settle in childcare but I’d talk to the Nursery and ask for more settling in sessions.

How do you think the TT affected your DC? Interested as mine had a yt? Which was advised as mild at birth but then lactation consultant said it was 75%. We had it divided by NHS then reassessed by consultant who thought it hadn't been divided enough. We haven't pursued it because feeding seemed ok (albeit little and often but gaining weight etc).

Did DC take long to settle? Mine has had 3 sessions, the last one was 2 hours but I was called back early as upset.

I'm slightly concerned about the TT again. We are Baby led weaning and it's been so slow. Not really liking anything that requires chewing.

I would definitely look into having the TT assessed again. With our DS it affected his sleep (just don’t ask how old he was when he slept through), his Weaning (couldn’t really chew until he was 1) and speech (ended up with SLT on and off for years).
