Anyone read this book?

What did you think of it and do you believe it helped your child?

I bought it recently and have been actively dedicating 30 minutes per day as suggested in the book, usually 5 days a week.

My DD is just young however I have an older child too and I'm wondering if she may progress differently due to this.

With my older child I didn't dedicate really any time to teaching him. I did ofcourse play with him on the floor, sing to him and talk to him but not in the same way or to the same level this book suggests. So I'm interested to see if it will have any difference in their development.

My son is very able and bright but was never advanced for speeched. I'd say looking back slightly at the slower end but I never worried at all.

He's now in speech therapy as he struggles to pronounce certain letters.

I've just ordered this. My first DS is in speech therapy age 3 as he has difficulty pronouncing most speech sounds and I really want to encourage DD 6 months as much as possible early on to try to avoid speech delay as it's been the most stressful thing ever!
Do you think it's helping?

My lo is also only 6 months so I'm not sure if it's working or not yet. I do feel it's like a task that I need to tick off each day and I definitely feel like I'm consciously putting in more effort to engage and interact with her compared to my son.

I'm hoping it'll all be worth it in the next year or two!
