Hi everyone

Hope your all well. I just wondered if anyone has the same issues and advice please. My little one is three and the " terrible two" we're a breeze compared to his behavoiur . In the last month he's moved up from nursery which he's always loved to pre-school room were there older and bigger boys so he's started shouting at me and spitting. He always had a short fuse with anything that just doesnot suit him or does go his way. With his trantrum he screams the place down, kicks, spits and throws himself on the floor. He only sleep 7 hrs max a night and has always so much engery to say we are not chocolate, sweet people and because of his behoiur it's becoming very isolating, we've been asked to leave several shops and he has damaged displays when we've been out. I ve not clothed shop in about a year ( just do online now) and going out for a meal ( even at Brewers fayre ) is just mission impossible as he doesnot sit still and excepts things then and there when he does? What puzzles me is I've always been a campion for clear routines and boundaries and it just seems to be back firing ATM. Advice and feelings are most welcome.

Have you spoken to his teachers to see if there's anything they can Suggest?

Sorry, posted too soon. Wrt to going out, can you resort to a buggy? My 3 year old is much better behaved when not tired so we have days where we stay in. Any important jobs we always try and do first thing.

Have you tried a sticker chart for good behaviour? (Set out clearly what your expectations are and make it achievable to start with e.g. put on your shoes and coat without a fuss.)

I often head to the park in the afternoon so that she can burn off steam then home for tea and bed. Because she knows this time is coming she seems to keep her energy for then (usually!)

I just keep.repeating, it's not forever... I think ultimately continue what you're doing with clear boundaries and consequences and eventually they'll get there Smile
