Need help- 11 month old routine

Dd was sleeping really really well. Her rouitne was like this:

Wake 7.30/8am
Nap - 9.30/9.45 - 10.45/11
Nap 2-3.30 ish sometimes longer
Bed 7ish

Now I know babies will change and their sleep needs will to but dd has started to sleep quite a lot less at night and wake in the night where she never has before and also sleep less at night, either taking longer to settle, waking in the night or waking early. Whereas she was sleeping 14.5-15 hrs in 24 she is now sleeping 13 and sometimes less.

I know the amount that she was sleeping is quite a lot, but she's always needed that amount of sleep and slept a lot since birth. I tried shortening her day sleep a little but this has made no difference at all.

Is this common around this age. Is there anything I can/should do?

Following this. My 12 months old DD used to have a huge sleep need when younger and now started waking at 6 and going to bed later. Hopefully someone will have some knowledge. Presumably the morning nap has to go but from my experience with DS this never really resolved things..

This started happening to my ds at a similar age and I started a thread about it. The advice I got was that the morning nap was too early. Also it could be the beginning of going down to one nap? My ds is now 12 months and is starting to go down to one, although atm it's a case of two naps are too many and one isn't enough so I think there's going to be a fair few weeks of adjustment. If your dd wakes 3.30 and goes to bed 7ish it could also be that that's not enough time for her to get truly tired. I try to aim for a 4 hour minimum between waking for last nap and bedtime.

DS is nearly 11 months. A "normal" day is something like this

Up anytime 6:30-7:30
Nap 2-2.5 after waking for 45ish minutes
Nap 3ish hours after waking from that nap
6:30 bath with 2.7yo DD
7:00 milk and in bed by 7:30

My son is 10 1/2 months and we are struggling with naps at the moment. I've got a feeling that i need to drop the morning nap but nervous to do it as he is settling into nursery at the moment.
He sleeps from 7-6.20/7 ish
nap 9.30/10 - 10/10.30 (half hour occasionally an hour)
nap 1-2.15 (but has been as bad as 45 mins on recent occasions and used to do 2 hours).
So I will be following this thread for advice about naps. I have a feeling I need to man up and drop the morning nap though.

Ds is 11 m and his sleep and esp his naps have gone a bit weird. I suspect he is gearing up to drop to 1 nap but can't quite do it yet.
He is up 7am ish
10am ish nap for about 2hrs now!
Then a short nap about 3 for 30 mins
Bed at at 7pm. He doesn't sleep thru but he isn't up for long.
He used to have his morning nap about 9.15ish so gradually that seems to be moving back.
The problem I have now is of he naps to close to midday he isn't tired again till gone 3 pm and I don't want him napping later than that as bed at 7pm but he can't go from midday to bedtime so we have a little cat nap but I won't let him nap past 3.30pm
Difficult times when dropping naps!!

Mine did exactly the same thing around that time. Always slept through - 7.30pm to 7am.

Then started waking at night, taking ages to settle, occasionally wanting a bottle, waking early.

She's 15 months now and it's settled a bit but it's still hit and miss.

I'm not sure there really is anything we can do. She's been on one short daytime nap for ages (we didn't care as the night sleeps were so good!)

It's just developmental change, I guess. I know that's no comfort, but I feel your pain. I miss unbroken nights. Hmm

Thanks everyone. I guess it's just something to live with or ride out. Dd1 was always a terrible sleeper and I was always trying to fix it. i just loved that I didn't have to think about dd2s sleep.m

Feekerry, have you tried waking after an hour in the morning, so the sencond nap can be slightly longer as napping earlier?

Dd will happily sleep for 2 hours sometimes in the morning but then fusses massively for afternoon nap. If she has a shorter nap either naturally or if I wake her, her afternoon nap is usually better.
