Hi! My DD2 has just turned one and SLEEPS ALL THE TIME still!! I have worked out she must sleep about 18 hours in about every 24!! I know most people will say "enjoy it while it lasts" etc, but it is beginning to worry me.
At night she sleeps from 7pm til 7am (but that's only cos she shares a room with DD1 who wakes her up at that time, if left to her own devices, she would wake up about 9am/10am!!!!) Then she sleeps from 8.30am til about 12pm - She would have another sleep in the afternoon from about 2pm til 4pm, but I don't let her; but then she will normally conk out about 4pm, which make bedtime a little more tricky.
Is that normal?? Does anyone else' 1 year old still sleep as much as this?? If she doesn't get her full quota of sleep she won't eat and just sits in the high chair arching her back, throwing food eveywhere and screaming her guts out. It is quite scary.
She was a little prem (month early) and is still quite small (18lb, 6-9 / 9-12 clothes) and is very active when she is awake.
I am just starting to get a little worried, particularly with the screaming when she doesn't get enough sleep.....
