resources / books / ideas to help build 3yo DD confidence

DD is 3, and has all her life been sensitive and shy. She's just started at pre-school and school's coming up next year, and I'd like to start doing some gentle things to help her build her confidence.

Recommendations for books, other resources, what's worked for you? Thanks!

Time, and patience
Not books

She will get it from you and other people around her. Pre school may well help as well. Don't push it, don't force her. Just praise her for specific things (as in "that was good drawing" as opposed to "good girl" so she knows what she did well).

Also try and be positive and confident yourself - actions speak louder than words after all.
