Dropping bottles & naps????

DD is almost 1yo so I've started thinking about what the 'norm' is for firstly reducing the no. of bottles per day. She currently still has 3. 1st thing, afternoon & before bed. If she's at creche she refuses her afternoon one. Is this normal or should they be cutting down now. She's not hugely brilliant with the cup yet. Secondly, what age were your LOs when they dropped from 2 to 1 nap?? I am typing this while she is upstairs for her am nap but can hear her singing away to herself!!! Just wondering what anyone elses LOs did. Ta for any info!!

Well! The dropping if 2 naps to 1 is a process really. Some days they may still need 2 for a while, some days just 1. My DS was about 17 months when he could reliably go with just 1 but we started the process around 13 months.

Also dropped morning bottle at 14 months. No cup just more breakfast (2 breakfasts!) and evening one at 17 months. Again not desperately into the cup but we make it available about 30 mins before bed time & he takes what he wants. Didn't go midday one as just dropped a breast feed yonks ago.

Good luck.
