thick dry red skin in head

my DD is 5 weeks old and right across her eyebrows she has dry skin, but it feels thick and raised up. Should I pub olive oil on like I do with the think dry skin in her hands and feet? Have read sma milk can be linked to eczme, anyone else heard this and should I change her feed?

I think it is quite common for babies to get cradle cap spreading to faces too. My midwife advised olive oil when ds got it on his head and to very gently scrub it away gradually at bath times.

My DD had this and although olive oil helped it was aveeno that got rid of it completely.
