Help with Screaming!!

Hello all!
Anybody have any tips to diffuse a screaming 2 year old?

My son is 28 months old and his speech hasnt really got going yet. (we are waiting on speech therapy but were told its a long wait!)

A major problem we have is our commute to work.
Wife & I work at same job so we actually meet at 2.30pm and swap over.
My wife takes a 30 min train ride in and I get it home.
The little fella has this habit of screaming on it!
We park up in the pram space and he wants out of the pram(Massive scream) then he wants to slam the foldable seats at full force (if not Massive scream) if its gets busy we have another massive scream.
Its getting mega stressful and my wife already has had 2 full scale arguements with narky commuters. Any help would be appreciated.

Do you have toys, books, music to keep him busy while he is in his pram?
It sounds like he is bored, it will be noisy but less than screaming and slamming the sit.

snacks are good to distract too, something which takes a long time to eat like a raw carrot or whole apple...
