I know a 3yr old. She's lovely but I find the name a bit harsh-sounding. Always think of claws.

i really like it

Someone in my class is called Claudia> I quite like it, but Dh always brings up the line from interview with a vampire-"Claudia you've been a very naughty girl."

The fact that it means 'lame' does put me off slightly, but I like it.

I know 1 of about 45, one of 11 and one of 8.
No little ones though - and i don't hear it being bellowed in the street at all either.

I know several in their 30s but no little ones. Yes, the meaning would put me off, tbh.

To Tambajam you could say 'Cloudier' rather than 'Clawdia' as per Claudia Schiffer?

What about the 'Cloudier' way of saying it? German?

I know a beautiful 14 yr old Claudia. Never met any others to my knowledge.

I prefer the 'Cloudier' version. It's like that in Spanish too.

I have a friend called Claudi pronounced Cloudy - really lovely and unusual - her Dad is German which is where the pronunciation comes from.

I love it too. I wanted to use it for dd but dh thought it was 'too German'

Lovely name.

I teach quite a few. It's a popular polish name, though spelled Klaudia and pronounced Cloudier.

Again love it but the meaning ruins it...such a shame

I knew one at uni- she was very chic and interesting with a great sense of humour and a vespa scooter. Kinda cool.
