I seem to always say the same things for middle names:

Louise
Elizabeth
Beatrice
Grace
Rose
Katherine

all sound good with Amy.

Good choices Tidey, dd is Amy with one of those as a middle name and obviously we think it is perfect! I prefer longer middle names with a short first name

Jennifer
Josephine
Georgina
Caroline

Thanks guys; quick responses! What about Kate? or too short? DD1 has short first name and longer middle name so don't want anyone feeling cheated!!

Amy Kate "Miller" e.g nice

Amy Kate "Smith" e.g Too Short

Amy Kate "Williamson" e.g would work too

so in summary, if you are not a short name I reckon it's lovely.

I'm Amy Rachel. I have little opinion on this, but thought I'd put it forward anyway.
