I know one, not short for Saskia, that is her name - Sassy.

I wasn't sure to begin with, but I think it maybe growing on me.

And what if the poor child is a mousy never saying boo to a goose type person?

Fortunately for her, my dd is a dancer and moves well, but she only has to trip on the kerb for someone to say "Not very Grace-ful, are you!"

It's the name of a Hole song from the early 90s (Pretty on the Inside album). I think the child would have to be very grunge-esque and have a sardonic wit to carry off such a name....

No to Neighbours (stopped watching when it disappeared from BBC).

She is my dd's year at school (so not technically a baby name!)
