Isla goes well with Una.

I think these are short and sparky enough to go well with Una:

Rowan
Nina
Clara
Lyra
Thea

Do you want a short name again, traditional or modern? Unusual or well known?

What have you come up with for a boy? I'll try and think along those lines

Shorter names wise, I'm currently liking Maeve, Bronwen, Robyn, Lola, Gwyneth, Clara, Edie, Fallon, Mina, Ada and Sarah.

Iris is really lovely, although it seems to be on the rise. That's not necessarily a terrible thing but maybe something to bear in mind.

sorry to change subject completely for a minute but does anyone know how to create a local link for an area thats not already listed?? Cant find instructions in the FAQS section. Apologies and back to the thread how about Mia. I think Vera goes with Una but its not really a baby name of today is it?

Hi everyne, thanks for the suggestions, my shortlist was sort of Iris, Robyn, Cora (?), Enid. Our surname is Greene, so Theresa and Isabelle etc are out of the question, but have seen some good ideas so far ta!!!!
