Prefer it short for Philippa

Its okay, however. It means a blow job in Italy and is slang for sexual intercourse in Sweden, so. It doesn't travel particularly well. However in France Peter means fart so. If everyone over thought what a name meant in another country thst they may never visit. People would spend an eternity picking a perfect name.

Philippa with Pippa as a diminutive is better. I'd avoid Pippa on its own for the reasons babyspider just said.

I love it but would put Philippa on the birth certificate.

It reminds me of Pippa Middleton or my friends cockerpoo.

Not too keen on Phillipa.

No, don't like it at all. Or Philippa.

Love it but the rude meanings in other languages ruled it out for us Sad

Pippi is wee in German so not a great name!

One of my favourite names! Ruled it out because of the slang.
It's so annoying as it's a beautiful name love it

Don’t like it on its own tbh. Reminds me too much of Poppy, which I’m not keen on.
