I always think of it as a dogs name Blush but actually, I quite like it for a baby. I've never met one in my life though.

It was on our list but our surname starts with B so we thought it sounded like a dodgy car salesman!
I love the name though.

It's quite nice. Bet there are more dogs called Max and Charlie than Bruno!

I have two uncles named Bruno (one is called Brunello).

Not a fan of the name. Despite having Italian uncles (actually, I think one is a distant cousin? Idk) with that name I still think it's a dog name.

Plus, there's this horrible flim called Bruno or something, right?

UHm, anyway. Whether the OP likes the movie or not.

SHe just can't do that to her baby.

I think you need to have some connection to Italy for it to work.

Italy? We are Spanish.

I really like it! Maybe partly because I went to school with a really lovely lad called Bruno.
Go for it!

My son (half Italian) is a Bruno.
It's a very European name as is used widely across France and Germany too (even if it's a bit middle aged now!)
Despite all the camp connotations (the film and bruno from strictly) I always thought it was quite a powerful sounding name
Weirdly we also call ours Brunello but only as we are in wine trade 🍷
It was my choice and I love it (obviously)

I saw 10 year old Bruno this morning. His family are Spanish speakers (but from SA, not Spain).
I like it.
