Floral Names

My DH and I are expecting our second child.

We have decided on boys names though we're struggling to come to an agreement on a girl's name.

The only thing we have decided on is that we do both really like floral names.

So far, we have Lily, Rose or Primrose.

Middle name will be Evelyn.

Any preferences? (Even if you're not usually a 'flowery name' person).

Thank you!!

Primrose is very tough to carry off (nickname Prim or Primmie? Perhaps not helpful)
Lily is a bit ubiquitous
Rose is pretty but Rosalie, Rosamund are better.

Love Lily and Rose but think Rose Evelyn goes bests have you considered Iris?

Ahh Rosalie is very nice, thank you! Have considered Iris and Ivy but husband not overly keen. He's an awkward so-and-so. When we were thinking of girl's names with pregnancy no.1, he was so against Evelyn (which was my fave) but now likes it as a middle name.. Hmm

What about Rosie? Lovely and flower themed plus they could drop to Rose as they get older?

Daisy?

Lily is nice but very over used and a bit bland imo.

I don't like Lily, only because my parents named my bits that as a child (boys willy girls lily).

Now the name is so popular and I still think vagina whenever I hear it lol

LexieLulu - That's absolutely hilarious!!

We have four Daisies in our family so I don't think we could add another haha.

I think Rosalie/Rose is winning, so far! My MIL hates Rose but I really don't care.

Violet and Iris are my favourite 'flower' names but Rose is really lovely too, classic and beautiful and she could be Rosie when she's little which is very cute.

Rosalie is gorgeous.
Not a flower but Florence is floral sounding and comes from a the Latin for "to flower"

Rosina is nice too.

Love Dahlia.

I also like Aster and Zinnia, covering off the rest of the alphabet.

Oh, and Tansy.

I like Primrose Evelyn. You could just use Rose as a nickname. You could branch out (no pun intended) into trees and have Willow.
I think Lily is too common now.

NoFucksImAQueen - I absolutely loved Florence! It was at the very top of my list but that's another name DH isn't keen on Sad.

ThinkPinkStink - Rosemary is another gorgeous name... love that she has a few nice nicknames, too!

Thank you all for your (much appreciated) contributions!!!

Food for thought! Flowers

Iris and Rose are favourites (but not Rosie)
Zinnia, Dahlia and Ianthe are much rarer but really beautiful.
Flora?
Woman I worked with did have a Sequoia, and at first I was like wtf but now, quite like it.
