Well, I had a very funny birth! I don't do things by halves. I went into labour two weeks before my due date. Of course, my DH and children were at a farm two hours away! My MIL was away on a' girls' holiday and my DM and DF were visiting my older sister in Wales. So, I rang FIL and he drove over to my house to pick me up so we could go to the hospital. I then realised that I had been having contractions for a lot longer than I had thought and was dilated. To cut a long story short, FIL ended up having to deliver the baby at home and was an absolute star about the whole process and I am very grateful for him. She is absolutely beautiful and we are all cuddled up now! FIL chose her middle name in the end and it's lovely! Our little Tess Veronica is 8lbs and 7oz. She is gorgeous and we all adore her name. He picked Veronica because it his was his mother's Catholic name, his name is Nick (Nica and Nick sound sort of similar) and one of his favourite aunts was a Vera. He suggested a couple of names to us, Tess Ramona (he likes The Ramones), Tess Corinne (he had a friend called Corinne who passed from cancer and he likes the name), Tess Marigold (he thought it was pretty) and finally Tess Leonora (because he liked the name). He came to Tess Leonora and Tess Veronica and eventually chose Tess Veronica because it has the most meaning to him. So, yeah, baby #5 is home safe and sound! Our little ones are Nancy, Clara, Archie, Fox and Tess.
Love to all who helped us choose a name!
