Alicia? DD1 is simply called Eliza, not short for Elizabeth or anything, and we love the name Alicia for DD2 - pronounced the traditional A-LISS-i-uh way. Neither of us are too keen on Alice. However, are Eliza and Alicia too similar? They both start with the same vowel sound and I'm worried they're easily confused. Opinions? And, also, if we like Eliza and Alicia, what other names might we like?

I wouldn't have them together. Sounds a bit themey.

Both beautiful names. They're similar but not so similar as to not work together so if Alicia is your favourite name I'd use it.

Some other names you might like:

Alexis
Amelie
Estelle
Lucille
Adelie
Delilah
Rosalie

Not too similar but what about Alyssa to make sure people pronounce it as you prefer?

They're similar but I think they have a nice ring together! Go for it! X Smile

Hmm - a bit matchy matchy for my taste.

I love both names, not too match in my opinion.

Also, they are sisters, will grow up and have separate lives. Similar names are fine.

Well you can. There are no laws about giving your children similar names, but tbh they would sound daft together.
