Final shortlist (girls)

Hello everyone.
DH and I have finally narrowed it down to four names:

Grace
Fleur
Aurelia
Elise

DH is French so a French name would be nice, but is not necessary. We already have two boys, Ezra and Sacha. DH has always seen himself with a Grace and it is his favorite name, however it is kind of common and was #15 last year (NYC). Fleur is a name I've always loved but I'm not too sure how it would come across. However, there are many unusual names in the city and it is definitely not the strangest I've heard. I love the name Aurelia and would use it to honor my great-grandmother, I know Aurelie is a french version but I'm not sure if I would be able to use a different variant of Aurelia And Elise is a recent addition which I also love, but it is sightly similar to Ezra by means of the first letter.
Unless we pick Aurelia, her middle name will be Aurelia. But if we choose Aurelia we're thinking Aurelia Mirielle. (Mirielle is a family name)

Thoughts?

They are all really beautiful names. My favourite is Aurelia but it's a lovely shortlist.

I don't think Fleur is strange (I have met a couple at work/socially) although some people might think of Fleur Delacourt from Harry Potter.

I didn't realise Grace was so popular in the US. I think it's common in the UK as a middle name but still feels distinctive as a first name.

My only concern with names like Fleur and Aurelia would be around pronunciation - how they sound in different accents, whether there'd be any confusion over how to pronounce them etc.

Aurelia Mirielle is one of the prettiest names I've ever heard of. Just lovely.

Aurelia or Elise (the latter goes best with your dses' names IMO).

I have 2 dses and a dd, and ds2's and dd's names start with the same letter - it's not an issue :)

I think Elise Mireille would be perfect. It's funny, in isolation I like Aurelia best, but I just think Elise fits better in context, iykwim.

We're now between Fleur, Aurelia, and Elise. (Well 99% sure about our decision.)
It's hard to remove Grace from the list, but understandable. I don't think it fits with our last name. DH is sad to see his "Gracie" go, but he'll be okay. Wink
If it helps, our surname is the same as a French sparkling water drink.

I really like Grace and Aurelia. I know you've ruled out Grace as a first name, but Aurelia Grace would be a lovely combination for first and middle names.
