They both go with Harry but as I have a handsome nephew called Ewan i'd pick that one! He's the only one in his class too and there's a few Georges Smile

I'm in Scotland so I think it could be the other was around with more Ewan's than George's! X

Dp prefers Ewan. I'm undecided even though he suggested George and i suggested Ewan!

My son is Ewan, he's the only one in his school!
I adore the name and although biased he is very handsome.

I prefer Euan, if I'm honest! That's only because I know an absolutely perfect one!

I do prefer George though, I think - it's just so overused!

Harry and George is very Royal.

Just looked at the table for 2015

George was 51st
Ewan was 73rd but spelt Euan

Another vote for Ewan! Just about to have our first DS and this is on my short list!

I've just had to name change, as it would seriously out me - but I have a George and a Ewan Grin

My George is 9 and it wasn't as common a rebirth of a name back in the mid 2000s. He has one in upper school (year 5/6, him!) one in lower (year 3/4) and 2 in infants at his school. It seems popular but not too common if that makes sense?

My Ewan on the other hand (and with a W, I think it looks horrible with a U) is the only one in his school. Only one I know of nearby. I love the name. I think it's beautiful, different without being too odd, strong. Only downside is we never manage to find anything with his name on!

My partners son is a Henry, and I love all three names a lot.

And I love the name George too - that was always going to be DSs name, before he was conceived. It's always been a favourite.

That's because Euan is the original

I LOVE both Euan and George (and Henry, and also Rory which is a similar style name to Euan imo).

I'd go for Harry and Euan, only because George is quite an obvious paring with Harry.

Euan James would be perfect.

I think George goes better with Harry, but I prefer Euan

I think we're going with Ewan/Euan over George. It seems to be preferred with family members too!

Trying to figure out middle names. Ds had both mine and dps fathers names as middle names so we're stuck with this one!

We have a Ewan, love it! Only downside is , when saying to dd "you and Ewan" bit of a mouthful, otherwise we love it more than any other boys name.

Ewan or Euan.

I prefer the Euan spelling as Ewan has "ew" in it.

Ewan George sounds like a good name to me. Then you can use both your choices :)

I prefer the spelling Ewan, it looks better (less like Evan which is a name I hate) and for me it sounds like yew, like Ewe the sheep? Mine is nicknamed Ewie a lot though.

We have a Ewan William here

I have a Euan :-) He is one of two in his class, but there are no other Euan's (or Ewan or Ewen) in the school. He doesn't really mind, he likes having a "name twin".

His middle name is James, after both of our grandfathers.
