Really struggling to find the perfect name for our baby girl, due July.

I am forever changing my mind but these are the names I keep coming back to. Which do you prefer or how would you rank them? Honest opinions please. And I am aware they are all pretty popular.

Lily
Jessica
Ella
Emilia

Middle name likely to be Lily, Jade or Jean

Thanks!

Ella is the only one I can imagine as a grown up - i'd go with Ella Jean

in rank order for the rest I'd go:

Emilia Jade
Lily Jean
Jessica Lily

They're all OK. I would use Ella as a short version of something else though, like Eleanor.

I like

Emilia Jean
Lily Jade
Jessica Lily

Ella is my least favourite as it sounds like the end of a name rather than a full name.

In order of preference:
Lily - love it
Emilia (so much nicer than Amelia)
Ella (although not too keen)
Jessica (sounds very dated to me)

For what it's worth I know adults with all of these names and I think they work great for all ages.

Jessica Jean or Ella Jean

I have a Jessica so I'm biased (it's not dated, btw, it's been top 10 for the last few years).
Ella is lovely too
Lily is pretty
Not keen on the mealy sound in Emilia

I wouldn't normally do alliteration but I actually really like Jessica Jade

Jessica is lovely, although some may say dated, I'd say it's more of a classic.

The others are all pretty but a bit over-popular at the moment.

Really like them all apart from Jade, which is naff. It stands out like a sore thumb in your list.

Lily - Beautiful, but very popular at the moment.
Emilia - Lovely, suitable for a child or grown up. However its becoming more popular at the moment.
Jessica - Boring (It's my name, i can say that) Been in the top ten forever, there are hundreds of Jessica's of every age running around out there and i can't tell you how much it sucks to be refered to as one of the Jessica's when you are in a school with 20 others.
Ella - Don't like at all. Sounds very babyish
Jean - Very old fashioned.
Jade - Not very nice in my opinion, the only one i have every known was a horrible girl and a troublemaker.

Emilia Jean is what I'd choose from your list.

Jessica Jean.

We have an Ella (we call her that but her full name is Eleanor). You could always have Gabriella with Ella as a nn?

Jessica sounds quite dated to me. What about Megan? Meg is a sweet nn.

Umm.. and Lily is there twice on your list a first name and suggested middle name. I think you like this one the most! I like it, it's sweet and classic.

all nice but the spelling of emillia will cause lifelong mis spellings.

Emilia.

Not keen on the others, sorry.

abitasleep also my sisters name, she is 28 and she adores it, and we dont know any Jessica s directly/in our circle of friends. I was always jealous of her name and lots of my boyfriends (and DH!) said its their favourite name on a girl/woman.

So I love Jessica... then Lilly.

Ella is everywhere at the moment so has lost any appeal to me.
