Baby boy names - help

Really need some input as struggling with names and haven't got long to go!

Our favourite for a long time was Jacob Henry Long and then we realised that depending on how you say Jacob Long it sounds a bit like Jake Oblong (not great!). So now desperately trying to come up with alternatives and need some input!

Current thoughts:
Henry Jacob Long
George Reuben Long
Reuben George Long
Toby Jacob Long
Tobias Jacob Long - would be shortened to Toby though in everyday situations.

Thank you 😊

I don't think Jacob Long sounds like Jake Oblong at all. It sounds like Jacob Long!

I would avoid Jacob for the reason you are.

Do you like just Jake though?

I like Tobias/Toby and Henry.

I love Reuben and Tobias , both were possible options for my ds but hubby vetoed. In the end we chose a previously unmentioned name in the operating theatre. Its good to have options but decide when he's born

Henry or George but I think Jacob Long sounds absolutely fine

Go with your gut instinct. Jacob Long is a good name! And I would never have thought of "oblong"

I bang about on this on here a bit, but Toby(and Tobias - who are always called Toby) seems really overdone at the moment here in the South-East. Every other child seems to be called this. And it's sounding really stale to me. The same with Theo (altho' sorry that wasn't one of your suggestions!) And Reuben is certainly creeping up the charts too.

I think Jacob or George are both great, classic names that won't date as badly as Toby/Reuben. If I were you, I would go with one of these (but that's just an opinion among many of course!)

Good Luck!

Harrison, Hugo or Julian.
We have a Julian and I love his name (obviously!) love that it's classic but still uncommon : )

Henry Jacob Long.
The only Long I knew was a Walter Long, and that was a long time ago.
