I think it's lovely, one of my favourite names.

It makes the Wizadora theme tune play in my head...

What a lovely name!

The same as grizzlebert but once you get past that, or if you have no idea who or what Wizadora is then its a lovely name.

I like it but yes it does remind me of wizadora :)

Isadora Duncan, dancer who died when her scarf got caught in the wheels of a car she was travelling in.

Isadora, we adore her! Sorry, it's Wizadora for me, too.

HelenF35 · 30/07/2015 17:26

Wizadora for me also I'm afraid.

Makes me wonder when Tatty Bogle will be popping in

Lunastarfish · 30/07/2015 17:31

It's a pretty name but again I now have the Wizadora song stuck in my head....

Makes me think of someone saying 'it's-a-door-a' in a fake Italian accent!

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 30/07/2015 17:57

Awful sorry.

Dismalfuckers · 30/07/2015 17:59

Beautiful, but a lot of pressure - got to be willowy and graceful, with a perfect profile Smile

Oddpet · 30/07/2015 18:20

Yep Wizadora here too, nn Dora the explorer?! Sorry I can't get past those associations Blush

I think it's lovely. I've never heard of Wizadora.

Lovely name.

Report
sweetpeame · 30/07/2015 18:47

Like the "Isa" part but not the "Dora", so it's a no from me. Starts off pretty but ends badly!

Report
reuset · 30/07/2015 18:55

It's ok, but I'm not wild about it. And I know it's from a proper name but it always looks messy and cobbled together like an historic building with later additions and alterations.

reuset · 30/07/2015 18:58

Duncan wouldn't put me off, though. Not many people nowadays can be aware of her or her tragic life (she lost her children in a freak accident before that etc) or her contribution to modern dance

villainousbroodmare · 30/07/2015 19:02

I like it. I know a v nice Isadore (male).

Report
IsadoraQuagmire · 30/07/2015 21:47

I thought everyone would know all about Isadora Duncan (and, of course, that's why Lemony Snicket's Quagmire Triplets are named Isadora and Duncan)
Never heard of Wizardora however...

Makes me think of isadora Duncan but for what she brought to ballet as opposed to her tragic end. I like it....I think.

Sophronia · 30/07/2015 23:05

I prefer Isidora, which is the original spelling.
