Expecting DC2 shortly and we already have a Naomi.

What do you think of Sadie? Does it go with Naomi and what would you have as a middle name with it?

Thanks!!

I love Sadie.

But it seems the sort of name that everybody loves, but nobody actually uses. I have no idea why.

I like it, very much.

Sadie Alexandra
Sadie Eleanor
Sadie Elizabeth
Sadie Felicity
Sadie charlotte?

I thnk it goes nicely with Naomi. I like them both as names that are unusual enough that there aren't hundreds of them but not so much so that people are Hmm when introduced.

Sadie and Naomi sound like lovely, pretty, clever and sensible girls to me Grin

I love it. Why do sibling names have to go together though? Never understood that. As long as it goes with the surname it's fine.

Sounds nice and goes with Naomi (not that it massively matters!). Re middle names, just either pick a name you like or use a family name. I'm firmly of the opinion (although it's not popular on mumsnet!) that middle names are largely irrelevant.

Love it! Would have been on the short list for ours but doesn't work with our (peculiar) surname Confused

It's ok. I'm a firm believer in 'proper' names, and you can guarantee somebody will come along and say use Sarah as the full name, but I think this works well alone.

I dislike it. Too lightweight for me; it doesn't sound like a proper name.

Not keen, it reminds me of 'sadist'

I think it is a lovely sounding name but I do think it's now retro-faddy, sorry. If not it'd be on my shortlist probably!

I really like it. It means princess.
I'd like it on list for DC2 but my DH isn't as keen Sad

Very popular for dogs.
But then so are Max, Ben, Molly, Daisy and many more that people like on here.

I've only known old Jewish ladies or dogs with the name Sadie. I wouldn't choose it but it's fine.
