I like Juliet (without the garnish) Douglas and Edgar. Quite like Josie but not as Josephine but not that fussed about the others.

I really like Clarissa,Edgar and Reuben. I'm not keen on Natalie or Douglas as they may be shortened to Nat and Duggie but just my random view Smile

Clarissa - a bit frilly for my taste, prefer Clara

Josephine - like it a lot, it's long without being frilly, & I like Josie

Natalie - I think it's a bit 1980s, but it's a nice name, as long as she doesn't end up getting called Nat

Juliette - I much prefer Juliet.

Douglas - it's not to my taste, but it's OK

Reuben - like this best of your boy names

Edgar - really dislike this one, sorry

Reuben is nice not a fan of the rest

As a josephene Clarissa don't do it. Confused Every other josephene I've met hates their name profusely and they've all been called Jo not josie

Not keen on Clarissa, but quite like the others. Juliet (rather than Juliette) and Edgar are my favourites.

Josephine or Juliette/Juliet for a girl.
Edgar probably best of the boys.

Report
RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 07/12/2014 14:17

I like Juliet, without the added frills.
Edgar is the best of the boys', but I don't love it. Prefer Edward or Edmund.

Rest are awful.

(IMO obviously)

Love Natalie, my friend gets either Nat or Tali.
Love Juliet, not so keen on Juliette, looks too try-hard.
Love Reuben.
Don't like the others at all I'm afraid.

I like them all. They are proper names but not super trendy or popular. Any of them would do!

CPtart · 07/12/2014 16:54

Natalie is my all time favourite girls name, not shortened.
Josephine and Juliette are ok, again, if not shortened.
Really don't like any others , sorry.

I love Josephine - I know a beautiful Josephine nicknamed Joey. For boys, I think Edgar is so cool. You have an unusual yet classic name with the option of the more common nickname Ed as he gets older.
All nice choices though!
