I have no idea why but the name Duncan just popped into my head.
I wasn't even planning on replying to this thread.

Buster is a dogs name, Merlin is a wizard confused not very helpful sorry!

I'm in exactly the same position, 3 weeks left and absolutely no names we can agree on hmm

mameulah Wed 19-Nov-14 10:19:30

I agree with Naice.

Buster Ghost, or Buster Dust.

Merlin Sherlock. Or Merlin Blaine.

Mummywithlove Wed 19-Nov-14 10:25:42

now youve said that it now reminds me of the kids program Arthur. ...blush right ... hubby decided he like the name Seth and Byron,, but now were still in same boat dont no which one lol xx

BlueStarsAtNight Wed 19-Nov-14 10:41:45

I agree Buster and Merlin are a bit too kids TV, ok as middle names though! Out of Seth and Byron I prefer Byron, Seth is too hissy for me.

I'm 8 days from due date and can't think of a boys name either! We had one, been the same for the past 5 years (DD would have been it if a boy) and now I don't like it.

We are considering Walter, Jasper, Hayden, but not getting the 'vibe' about any of them like we did with our chosen girl's name.

I've taken to reading the credits on Tv shows. All male names are wrong!

squoosh Wed 19-Nov-14 11:26:15

Buster and Merlin sound like a cartoon duo.

I do like Byron but it's a name with expectations attached. I would expect a Byron to look all swoonsome and Byronesque.

Bowlersarm Wed 19-Nov-14 11:29:06

Byron is a name to live up to, I agree with squoosh.

Seth is nice. The best of your choices, I think.

Mummywithlove Wed 19-Nov-14 12:09:45

i dont get the vibe on either of the names tbh smile i like old English names but not common ones hmm but my head is blank cant think if any lol anyone got any uncommon names i can pinch grin x

WowserBowser Wed 19-Nov-14 16:25:47

Seth is really nice

tammytoby Wed 19-Nov-14 16:30:33

I think Merlin is great, as is Byron. No idea what Byronesque is...? But would think that a baby boy Byron would 'make' his name i.e. people will associate the name with him, once they met him!

Really dislike the sound of Seth, so lispy and ugly imo, sorry.

Sophronia Thu 20-Nov-14 00:17:26

I like Byron and Merlin. Seth is ok. Don't like Buster at all!

Norfolkandchance1234 Thu 20-Nov-14 00:27:57

Seth is ok but a bit lispy. Don't like any of the other names sorry. Not my place to suggest any. But I chose my DC's names thinking more about how it would sound when they were adults not babies.

I love the name Merlin!

moxon Fri 28-Nov-14 18:54:43

serenity made me laugh.
I knew a Merlin. Nice guy. Bit of a joker.

RabbitSaysWoof Fri 28-Nov-14 20:10:35

I really like Buster.

ArchangelGallic Sat 29-Nov-14 21:45:58

What about something old like Kester, Krister or Jago?

(just going to check I've not made up Kester...thinking Cornish) (hmm)

ArchangelGallic Sat 29-Nov-14 21:47:43

Haha it's real and a Scottish form of Christopher.

BlueChampagne Sat 29-Nov-14 22:56:51

Jags is Cornish though. I have come across a Merlin professionally - a name to conjure with - but I prefer it to Buster. Like Byron too. Now about Conrad - unusual but not unknown?

BlueChampagne Sat 29-Nov-14 22:57:20

Sorry, how about Conrad ...

BlueChampagne Sat 29-Nov-14 22:58:21

Jago - damn predictive text, plus wine ...
