Alice and Arthur are lovely. I don't like Martha or Harriet really but dont know why. Most ppl like them and they are classics. Sid is ok, don't love it but I like it.

Martha is my favourite from the girls list.
Really don't like Sid I'm afraid - Arthur is good if you can make it work for you.

i love all the girls names. If ds2 had been a girl he would have been Miriam Alice. But he was a boy so he is Arthur Smile .

I really like all of them apart from Sid. Harriet is lovely, especially with the nn Hattie...

Report
Jaffamoon · 09/11/2014 21:09

Could Harriet have nn Etta or does that not make sense?

Just don't have both, an Arthur together with a MarthaWink!

I'm called Harriet, my sister is Alice and if my parents had another DD she would have been Martha

I love the name Martha and as a child I disliked my name but loved my sister's!

If you are thinking of potential nm's I had Hattie and sometimes Harry (which I hated!) but can't really think of a nm for the other two.

My name has definitely grown on me over the years but all 3 are beautiful!
