Baby names

Uncertain about what sounds nice...

I like the name Ashleigh and think Ashleigh Rose would be a nice name. However, DH thinks Theresa or Tirzah is nice. I agree that Theresa Rose or Trizah Rose does have a nice ring but maybe a bit too old?

Its between Ashleigh, Theresa and Tirzah. Coming from a Jewish background Trizah (a Hebrew name) would probably be favoured over Theresa which to the family would be "too Christian".

I do like the name Tirza but I am a bit unsure.
What do you think; Ashleigh, Theresa or Tirzah?

Im open to other suggestions of anyone has any.

Would it be tirzah or trizah?

Tirzah

Is it Tirzah or Trizah? Or Tirza?

I don't like Ashleigh personally, especially that spelling. Theresa is fine, quite underused these days, but Tirzah Rose (if that's the right spelling?) is the nicest of your choices imo.

Theresa Rose is stunning.

I'd spell it Ashley and abandon Tirzah.

Its definitely Tirzah (ive double and triple checked)

Sorry about spelling it 3 different ways. Should really learn how to spell.

Amaris Rose - Hebrew name so suits that criteria and seems to fit between Ashleigh and Tirzah.

I like Ashleigh or Ashley, don't mind the spelling, but to me the Leigh ending feels more feminine.

Not keen on Theresa. It does feel very 1950s Roman Catholic to me. In the same league as Colleen and Bernadette. I think I'm just naming Nolan sisters, but you get my point.

Never heard of Tirzah, but I'm not Jewish so perhaps that's why. Even so I don't like the flow of the name. Sorry.

Ashley/Ash is fine for a girl. Agree that Ashleigh doesn't look as nice.

Theresa, not so kean on. Nn Tess is lovely though.

Tirzah is fine. Are there any likely nns? Zaza?! Quite like that, actually!

Amaris is gorgeous, soontobeslender! Especially with mn Rose. That's going on my fave names list!

Ashleigh Rose is a bit bland I think, and I wouldn't choose Theresa personally. I like Amaris the most but I also like Tirzah, and one more, Keziah

Is it pronounced Teerza or Terza?
I like the French version Therese myself (Terez) (can't do graves by phone though!)

Were going for Amaris Rose courtesy of soontobeslendergirl. Its a win win, we both like it and its unique. I think it will just suit a little girl perfectly :)
