We did have Lottie and Elva shortlisted any thoughts on these? X

I think a name starting with E or any other vowel will all run together when you say it, so 'Tillyelva'. Not that you actually say a child's full name out loud often, of course
unless they are misbehaving
I think the double L with Lottie is also problematic, and you will have to say it very carefully, 'Tillyyy, Lottie'. Sorry. How about Charlotte? You could still use Lottie as pet name /nickname.

I was going to suggest Lottie.

I have one but she is Charlotte officially.

Is Tilly short for anything or is she just Tilly?

Hi guys, Tilly isn't short for anything just tilly :) me and DH both have family members called charlotte so was steering away from that. We are quite found of short names for example i think charlotte would of sounded nice if tilly was matilda if that makes sense!!?? So being as she is Tilly we were looking for another short name?

Tilly Rose or Tilly Kate would be my faves of the suggestions so far of short names. And how about Tilly Anne?

I prefer Lyra to Lyla (plus Lyra Silvertongue is damn cool). It goes nicely with Tilly.

Or -
Freya,
Alice,
Beth,
Willa.

Lyla Grace is gorgeous but I poss would be momentarily stuck on how to pronounce it because i'm a bit of an over thinker!

Laila Grace. Lila Grace.

Lyla Grace and Tilly are beautiful together.

Sophie Dahl and Jamie Cullum's child is called Lydia and i think its beautiful/ classic without being too pleased with itself.

Lydia and Tilly might go nicely too.
