our final choice me and my partner have completely different tastes in names the only one we both liked is Emily and her middle name will be violet this is special to my oh so her name will be Emily violet :)

I'm not a fan of Emily myself, however I do like Violet for the middle name. Do you really want opinions? Some people will like it and some people will not. Do YOU like it? That is the real question. It's your baby. Don't give a thought to what anyone else thinks.

Emily's my middle name, and the middle name of every other woman born between about 1976 and 1983 (except the ones whose middle name is Louise). So I can't help seeing it as a bit meh. But it's perfectly nice. It flows really well with Violet, which I love.

thank you yeah i suppose your right were not telling family so we don't get any negative feed back just wanted abit of reassurance lol because i feel like were going for a boring name ( i do like it though )

I love Violet!

Emily will see her through life fine, even if it isn't the most exciting name.

Emily was THE most popular girls' name a few years ago so there will be lots of them around.

Violet, on the other hand, is less widely used and I really like it. Feminine and interesting!
